Dorothy Juanita Mooney, 92, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on
Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021 at Prestige Assisted Living.

Dorothy was born in Cauthron, Arkansas the daughter of John and Ida
Center. Dorothy married Virgle R. Mooney in Sanger, California, and
they spent 63 wonderful years together. She was a housewife and
assistant manager of their grape vineyard. They belonged to the Sun
Maid Cooperative.

Dorothy enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and quilling paper art. Her
greatest joy was Bible study. Over the years, she became quite a
scholar of that holy word. Her Sunday School classes and women's Bible
studies benefited from her knowledge.

She was "One Solitary Life" who touched all she knew with love and
affection. She challenged all she met with this question, "If you were
to die today, do you know if you would go to heaven?"

Dorothy is survived by stepdaughter, Teri Lacasse; grandchildren, John
(Nancy), Karrah (Aleks), and Nicole Lacasse; great-grandchildren,
Benjamin, Cassandra, Jordan, and Aaaron Lacasse; two brothers-in-law,
Harold (Paulene) Mooney, Charles Owens; sister in law, Darlene Mooney,
and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Virgle; and all of her
siblings and their spouses.

There will be a graveside service in March at Lake Havasu Memorial
Gardens.

Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Dorothy's family at
www.mohavememorial.com. Arrangements were placed in the care of Mohave
Memorial Lake Havasu Mortuary.
