VAZQUEZ, Armando (Al)

Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Feb. 7 to Feb. 14, 2021 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Armando "Al" Vazquez, age 83, of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Moreno Valley, Calif. He was surrounded by his family. Al was born in Jamaica, Long Island, New York on January 9, 1938. He was raised in the Bronx with his younger brother, Julio and younger sister, Consuelo. He joined the Air Force in 1956. He began his career with Arrowhead Water in the early 70's and after retiring from Arrowhead Water, he helped start up a water company in Mexico City, Mexico. Once retired he moved to Bullhead City, Ariz. with his wife Joyce. He later joined the Bullhead City Police Department's Auxiliary which gave him so much joy. Al is survived by his three daughters, Lisa, Lori and Linda; son, Frank; three step-daughters, Vicki, Susie and Sandy; sixteen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life is planned for this summer with date to be determined. We will all miss him very much, especially his big smile and hearty laugh!
