| Published in Today's News Herald on Feb. 28, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Berton Peter Schipper, known to his friends as "Bert", passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 66 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on November 11, 1954. Bert married his soul mate; Cynthia, in Lodi, New Jersey on February 11, 1978. They relocated to California where he worked as a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for the City of San Clemente. Three years ago, Bert and Cindy relocated to Lake Havasu City. He enjoyed being on the water; boating, wakeboarding, tubing, and fishing. He loved jeeping, and was a member of Havasu 4-Wheelers. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed. Bert is preceded in death by his mother; Rosalie Schipper. He is survived by his wife; Cindy Schipper, daughters; Alison Schipper (fiancé Ryane), and Courtney Schipper (fiancé Austin), and two grandchildren; Reece and Avery.
