| Published in Today's News Herald on Mar. 2, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Ann Alice Conley, 82, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, in Lake Havasu City. Ann was born on July 2, 1938, in Bellflower, California, to her parents Klaas (Nick) and Alice Schaap. At the age of 9, Ann's family moved to San Bernardino, California. Ann graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1956. She married and lived a comfortable and productive life for 25 years. In 1981, she met Earl Conley and soon realized she had found her true soulmate. They married in 1984 and shared 35 lovely and wondrous years together. Ann was a member of Community Presbyterian Church, Elkettes, and Lake Havasu Republican Women. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Earl, and a sister Grace Koopal, and brothers Durk and Jim Schaap. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made in her honor to the Cancer Association of Havasu. www.havasucommunityhealth.org/page/cancerassociation A service and inurnment will held be on March 26 at 11 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
