Sandra K. Paddison, 78, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2021.
Sandra was born to Elmer E. and Ruth M. (Lake) Cone in Watertown, New
York, September 29, 1942. She grew up in Harrisville and Portville,
N.Y., graduating from Portville High School.
In 1961 she married William M. Paddison of Friendship, N.Y. They had
two children and settled in Spencerport, N.Y. In 1975 the family
relocated to Phoenix, where Sandra enjoyed a career in bookkeeping and
office management.
An avid gardener, Sandy planted gorgeous gardens of hybrid tea roses.
She was a member of the Phoenix Rose Society and served one term as
president. Later, her cats were her pride and joy. Sandy was a good
friend and neighbor to many people over the years, and she will be
greatly missed.
Her husband of 57 years, William M. Paddison, predeceased her. She is
survived by daughter Deborah Paddison of Phoenix and son William M.
Paddison II of Gilbert, Ariz.; in-laws Richard Champlin of Bountiful,
Utah, Nancy Mansell of Spencerport, N.Y., and James Paddison of
Shinglehouse, Pa.; lifelong friends Jean Morgan of Bolivar, N.Y., and
Sue Jackson of Ruskin, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial
contributions to Hospice of the Valley or the Arizona Humane Society.
