| Published in The Miner on Mar. 6, 2021 - Kingman, Arizona - Kathryn (Kathy) Scherbing Bratz Merritt passed away March 2, 2021 from lung cancer, in Branson, Missouri. She was the daughter of Bob and LaVerne Scherbing who resided in Kingman from 1953 until 1967. Kathy is survived by sister Linda Scherbing Kabelis and brother Robert Scherbing Jr. Brothers Joseph Esposito and David Esposito preceed her in death, along with parents Bob and LaVerne. Kathy is also survived by six children, Jada Bratz Peterson, William Bratz Jr., Ryan McCurdy, Kelly Merritt, Ashley Merritt and Wade Merritt. She leaves 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She always looked fondly on her years in Kingman and welcomed the chance to go back and hike White Cliffs. |
