Chad Michael Courtney, age 28, answered Gods call to get his wings.
Chad passed away suddenly on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born on
August 1, 1992 in Needles, California.
He went to school in Needles until he finished Junior High and then
transferred to Mohave High School in Bullhead City to complete his
education.
He worked at River Lodge Casino, then Arizona Detention Center in
Kingman and currently at Baron Pest Control.
Chad liked fishing, target shooting and hiking.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cliff Rhodes.
Chad is survived by his wife of 12 years, Pam; 8 year old daughter,
Tabitha; mother, Rosetta Whitton; father, Edward Courtney Jr.;
grandmother, Mary Rhodes; grandfather, Edward (Connie) Courtney Sr;
aunt, Susan (Ron) Wiegand; aunt and uncle, Cindy Rhodes and Charles
Rhodes; brothers, Corey Whitton, Daniel and Richard Street, and
Bradley Tyrkala; sister, Denise Courtney; step-brother, Tracy (Marion)
Bates; cousins, Wayne Rutherford, Shane Rutherford, Marlee Wiegand,
Breanna Burt, and Kyle Burt; and many nieces and nephews.
"Fly with the angels Chad, you will be deeply missed by all who loved
you, until we meet again. We'll all miss and love you."
Memorial services will be at 12:00 pm on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at
Rotary Park.
