| Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Mar. 3 to Mar. 10, 2021 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Betty Hargus, age 75, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Betty was born January 14, 1946. Most knew her as the Mrs. in the local Hargus Disposal Company, which was established in 1979 by her and her husband David Hargus. She was a wife, a mother, a Nana, a sister and a friend to many. A kind, generous and driven woman from the generation of hard working families with loving values. If you hurt, Betty would find a way to help you heal. As a breast cancer survivor in 2011, she, herself was no stranger to healing. She lived a determined, strong willed, yet loving life up to her last moments. Betty was preceded in death by sister, Janice Stone; and brothers, Stevie Hanes and Curtis Hanes. Betty is survived by her husband, David Hargus; daughters, Pamela Hargus Evans and Katie Hargus Lawson; son-in-laws, Jason Evans and Benjamin Lawson; grandsons, Brian Evans, 20, Luke Lawson, 8, and Jackson Lawson, 5; siblings, and sister, Pearline White. Her soul is now resting peacefully in the hearts of those who loved her most. There are no arrangements being made at this time and The Hargus family wishes to sincerely thank the community and friends for the love and support they have received. |
