In Loving Memory of Don L. Cox November 30, 1941 - February 21, 2021
Don Cox was born November 30, 1941 in Dimmitt, Texas and was the
youngest of five children. After losing his father at a young age, his
family relocated to Arizona when he was 10 years old.

He began his career in the grocery industry as a box boy at the age of
15. In 1962, at the age of 20, he joined Co- Sales Company and held
numerous positions throughout the years before becoming Co-Sales
eighth President at the age of 34. It was under his leadership that
the company established itself as one of the premier food brokerages
in the West and in 2010 Don became a Arizona Food Industry Hall of
Fame Inductee.

Don loved boating, traveling and spending time with family and
friends.

Don is survived by his wife Trudy and his 5 children, Jerry, Doug,
Shannon, Jim, Kristin, and his 10 grandchildren and 3 great
grandchildren.

The family will host a memorial service for family and friends on
March 13th at their residence in North Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers,
the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of the Valley
@hov.org.
