| Published in Today's News Herald from Mar. 13 to Mar. 14, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Mary Lou Vandenbossche, age 64, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, formerly of Anchorville, Michigan, passed away on February 25, 2021, unexpectedly. She was born on September 4, 1956, in Mt. Clemens, to the late John and Rita Klocke. She married Oswin F. Vandenbossche on August 28, 1981. Mary enjoyed playing board games, entertaining and cooking, she had a wonderful sense of humor. Her kind and giving ways led her to be known as Popcorn Mary for the huge bags of popcorn she made and gave away in Havasu. While living in Michigan, she was the owner and operator of Meteor Travel, Meteor Travel School and Vandy's Express. She adored her dogs; Alpha, Patches, Sadie, Tillie, and Holly. She is survived by her husband, Ozzie, siblings; Ron (Maureen) Klocke, Joanne (Maged) Radamis, and Mary Ann Scheer, sisters-in-law, Mary (Greg) Duvay, and Laura Wilson, brother in-law, Bill (Dorothy) Vandenbossche, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Klocke II, and brother- in-law, George Scheer. A memorial service will be held at her sister's Mary Ann Scheer, home in Lake Havasu on March 21, 2021 at 2 PM. |
