| Published in The Arizona Republic from Mar. 17 to Mar. 18, 2021 - Phoenix, Arizona - Roslyn Blumenthal, 72 passed away unexpectedly on February 24th 2021. She was born in Phoenix at St. Joseph's on December 17th, 1948 to Sam and Frieda Abrams. She attended Madison Park Elementary and graduated from Central High School in 1966. Roslyn then went on to Phoenix College and eventually became one of the few medical transcriptionists in the valley to type over 125 words per minute including shorthand. Rozzy as her friends called her was a very spiritual person. In the 70's and 80's she would often give psychic readings to her friends and was usually spot on. She worked tirelessly to raise 3 children as a single parent and eventually paid her own home off. She was a self-made woman who believed in following the rules of life. She so loved her 8 grandchildren and her many cats throughout the years. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Roslyn is survived by her brother Richard, sister Cheryl, son Ronnie, (Tina) daughter Julie, (Jay), daughter Shari, (Chris). Grandchildren: Kelli, Jordan, Joel, LillyAnn, Abby, Grace, Adler and her great-grandaughter Pearl. Services were held by Beth Israel. |
