MARY J. MULLVAIN TUCSON, Ariz.
Mary J. Mullvain was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Shannon City, Iowa, and passed away peacefully June 2, 2007, in Tucson, Ariz.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Scheffers; her brothers, Eldon and John Scheffers; and her husband, Bernard Mullvain.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Gloria) Mullvain, Grace (Dennis) Duval and Patricia Mullvain. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grand-children; nieces and nephews.
She worked for AG Communications Systems for more than 25 years and owned a small business in Genoa, Ill., for several years.
She had a great passion for sports, especially baseball and her beloved Chicago Cubs. Her fun-loving spirit, tender heart and vibrant smile touched all who knew her.
Memorial Mass will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 28th, in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Genoa. If you would like to give a gift to honor Mary's life, please consider a donation in her name to Casa de la Luz Hospice, Tucson.
