| Published in Today's News Herald on Mar. 25, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Johnny Jay Carbone, 74, a native Californian, born April 17, 1946 in Los Angeles, passed away on Friday March 12, 2021 in Lake Havasu City from his 11 year battle with cancer. John was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved the classics, anything from the 70s and older. John was a "gearhead" through and through. Tinkering was fun for him. His biggest passion was his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his son Kyle Sullivan and his two daughters Jill Carbone and Colby Carbone. His favorite words were Pop and Papa John, which his grandkids called him. His funeral service will be held on Saturday March 27, 2021 at 2 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church 1605 McCulloch Blvd S., Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86406. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Havasu or Cooking For Cancer. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
