On March 24, 2021 in Surprise, AZ, H. Bruce Chapman ended his 89-year
earthly journey, to continue his next phase, in the immediate presence
of God. Bruce was born July 27, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1953, Bruce sensed a
calling to be a pastor. He attended nearby Bethel Seminary, graduating
in 1956. His love of pastoring benefited churches in North Dakota,
California and, finally, Minnesota, retiring there and Arizona
beginning in 1993.

Bruce's enjoyment of life came with enthusiasm. In childhood, he
brought a spirit of fun and a bit of precociousness to all his
endeavors. As a father, he invested in his four children's lives with
a spirit of playfulness be it baseball, basketball, water skiing or
golf. His children's pursuits were important. Bruce was generous, to
the end. He loved life investing himself, as with family, in things
that brought him joy: developing a lake property and cabin, shopping
for and restoring antiques, and playing golf all his adult life.

Bruce is preceded in death by his wife Marge Chapman, their son Brian,
and his second wife Doris Johnson. Bruce is survived by his brother
and wife, Austin and Nadine, four surviving children and their
spouses, Todd and Julie, Camille and Mark, David and Melinda, Tadd and
Joan, grandchildren, Kirsten, Casey, Carson, Caden, Caitlin, Collin,
Jared, Rachel, Grason, Skyler, Sheerah, Cody, Drew, Austin, Katie,
Kyle and Brian, and their spouses, along with seventeen great-
grandchildren, plus nieces, nephews and their families.
