Drusilla Ann Jackson-Ward, age 69, passed away on Sunday, March 21,
2021. She was born on March 30, 1951 to Paul Jackson Sr and Nina
Hammond Jackson in Parker, Arizona.
She graduated High School in 1969 in Los Angeles, California. She
became a Grants & Contracts Officer. Drusilla was a Fort Mojave Indian
Tribal Council member and a Board member of Aha Macav High School and
Fort Mojave Domestic Violence.
Drusilla loved to travel, shopping, working, and spending time with
children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nina Hammond Jackson and
Paul Jackson Sr.; bothers, Jerry Jackson; Tommy Jackson; Eldon
Jackson; Rickford (Riggie) Jackson: and Wendell Jackson.
Drusilla is survived by her children, Woody Ward Jr., Windell Ward,
Winterhawk Ward, Drusilla Ward Jr., James Ward, and Angela Ward; her
brother, Paul Jackson Jr.; numerous grandchildren; great-
grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Funeral services will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Mojave Crossing Event Center, 1010
Aztec Road, Fort Mohave, Arizona. Tradional Tribal Services will
follow.
Traditional Fort Mojave Tribal Cremation will commence at 4:00 a.m. on
Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Fort Mojave Cemetery, 700 Harrison Street,
Needles, California.
Arrangements are being handled by Desert Lawn Funeral Home, Mohave
Valley, Arizona.
