Susan (Greer) Demo

Susan Demo, 56, passed away on April 5, 2021 of natural causes. She
was born on December 22, 1964, in Flagstaff, AZ to David and Bonnie
Greer. Susan was a loving wife, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend.

Following in her dad's military footsteps, Susan served for eight
years as a Reservist in the US Army, and also earned two degrees from
the University of Phoenix – a bachelor's degree in business
administration and a master's degree in organizational management – as
well as a Senior Professional in Human Resources designation from the
Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). She was a respected HR
professional and executive, working for Discover Financial Services,
Rolls-Royce and most recently, Nutrien – where she was Vice President,
HR Shared Services. Over the course of her life her career took her to
Phoenix, Arizona; Beach Park, Illinois; Avon, Indiana; and Loveland,
Colorado – and made a lasting impact in each community.

Susan loved the open road, particularly driving in her convertibles
and riding her motorcycle, and was an avid traveler – as well as a
frequent visitor to Estes Park in Colorado. She was passionate about
caring for others and giving back to her communities through
fundraiser walks and rides, and as a volunteer and board member for a
variety of charity organizations.

Passionate about her country and her career, Susan's dearest love was
reserved for her family. She married Richard (Rick) Demo on May 16,
1996, and they enjoyed their children, Aaron (Alisha) Demo , Brody and
Savannah; Justin (Joadie) Demo , Ryan, Sydney, Cy and Autumn; Ty Demo;
and Paige (Darrin) Wright , Audriana, Julian, Darrin, Avae and Nicole
– as well as their beloved dogs Emma, Luke, Vinnie and Hannah,
throughout the quarter-century that followed.

Susan is also survived by her siblings – Patric Greer (Laurie Ainge),
Kathy Greer, Jeffery (Robin) Greer , Kelley Greer and Tracy (Carolyn)
Greer – and siblings-in-law – Scott (Lisa) Demo, Ray (Tammy) Rozell,
Ron (Cheryl) Rozell, Kelly (Rick) Bowden, Rich (Julie) Richardson and
Krissy (Dave) Giddens and other relatives and friends. Sue was the
favorite Aunt and loved by all of her nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents David and Bonnie Greer and
sister-in-law Nancy Greer.

A Memorial Service will be held at Roosevelt 16, 1650 E Roosevelt
Street, Phoenix AZ 85006 on April 24 at 11 a.m.

Donations can be made in Susan's memory to the Alzheimer's
Association, Larimer Humane Society, Susan G Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation, Disabled Veterans of America, National Foundation for
Cancer Research, American Heart Association and the USO.
