| Published in Yuma Sun on Apr. 23, 2021 - Yuma, Arizona >> Peter Pete Munoz << >> March 8, 1951 - April 10, 2021 << Our beloved son, brother, husband , father and grandfather , Peter, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. Pete, as he was known to many, attended Yuma schools and proudly graduated as a Yuma High Criminal in 1969. He went to work for Shamrock Dairy right out of high school when they had an ice cream/milk processing plant here in Yuma. When the plant closed down in 1985 he made the move to Phoenix with Shamrock Dairy until his retirement in 2015. He was a hard worker and always had a smile on his face. No one was a stranger to Pete. Waiting for Peter to return home are his two beloved brothers, David Munoz and Larry Palacio, father Pete Munoz, grandparents Frank and Inez Palacio, many aunts and uncles Surviving him is his wife of 27 years, Maria, daughter Elisa and granddaughter Catalina of the home, his mother, Gloria Palacio-Munoz, sister, Christina (Henry, Jr) Espinoza, Danny (Carmen) Munoz of Yuma, AZ, other children included are: Antionette, Adrianna, Rebecca, Robert, Kristina, Stephanie, Joseph and Christopher Services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ Condolence letters may be mailed to Christina Espinoza, 2020 S. 7th Avenue, Yuma, AZ. 85364 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
