| Published in The Arizona Republic on Apr. 24, 2021 - Phoenix, Arizona - It is with deep sadness we share the passing of Native Arizonan, Reid J. Sahr, 58, on Friday, April 16, 2021, in Sun City, AZ. Reid was born July 11, 1962 to Kenneth and May Sahr. He was the youngest of six children, survived by brothers, Tracy (Barbara), Kendall (Karen), sister Denise (Paul), and four daughters, Kayla (Eric), Chelsey (Kile), Kendall and Dare, who were the most important part of his life. In addition to many wonderful friends and family members, "Papa Reido" (as he was fondly referred to) was also blessed with eight grandchildren; Brandon, Tayler and Addison Ganados; Lilly, Jake, Hailey and Brooklyn Watson; and Rowen Holleran. "Reido's" memory will be cherished by all those whose lives he touched . . . countless friends, family, and colleagues. Truly loyal in all areas of life, his humor, passion, devotion, humility, sarcasm, kindness, and most importantly, love, will never be forgotten. He is predeceased by his father, Kenneth, mother, May, and sisters, Lynel Blakesley and Ronna Berry. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 28, 12:00 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home, located at 10761 W. Grand Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351. If desired, friends may make memorial donations to The America Diabetes Association or Arizona Humane Society. |
