Dorothy "Tucker" (Bizzell) Culver, 91, passed away April 10th
peacefully at home with family around her. Tucker was born in
Goldsboro, North Carolina on December 9, 1929, to Dorothy "Dot"
Lillian (Hauser) Carraway and William J. Carraway.

When Tucker was quite young, Dot remarried to Elliot "Buzz" Bizzell,
who became Tucker's beloved "Daddy". Buzz brought the family to
Southern California before WWII, where Tucker finished school.

Tucker married the love of her life, Richard Lee "Dick" Culver, at
Saint Mark's Episcopal in Glendale on August 6, 1949. Tucker and Dick
raised three children at homes in Chatsworth and Saugus, CA. Vacations
were spent camping and fishing at McGee Creek, CA.

After retiring from accounting work for Castaic School and College of
the Canyons, Dick and Tucker built a house in Frazier Park, CA in
1978. While living in the "mountains" Tucker enjoyed working part time
at Tejon Ranch and walking at the ranch on her lunch hour.

Tucker and Dick moved to Lake Havasu City in 1994. Throughout her life
Tucker loved her family, friends, canning, baking, sewing, gardening
and all of God's creatures. In LHC she volunteered as a Tax Preparer
at the Senior Center and particularly enjoyed walking with her Havasu
City Walking Buddies at Rotary Park, many who became very close
friends. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Havasu.

Tucker is survived by sons Richard "Lee" Culver and Guy Jeffrey "Jeff"
Culver; daughter Carey Tucker (Culver) Shaw; grandchildren Minda
(Culver) Bila, Colin Culver, Rebecca (Shaw) Scherer; Daniel Shaw;
Benjamin (Ben), Sarah and Margaret Culver; four (plus one on the way)
great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, devoted cat and companion,
Buggs Jr. and many friends her loved her.

As per Tucker's wishes, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made in Tucker's memory to Mayo Clinic Cancer
Research of Arizona, 13400 E. Shea, Scottsdale, AZ 85295 or the
Western Arizona Humane Society or charity of your choice.
