| Published in Today's News Herald from Apr. 25, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Carlota Vazquez de Sausedo, 99 years old, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona joined our heavenly Father on February 23, 2021. Carlota was lovingly known as Charlotte by her friends. She was born in Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. She spent her adolescent years in Hermosillo, Mexico. She married the love of her life, Charles Sausedo on January 21, 1946 at the County Courthouse in Los Angeles, California. She raised her three children living happily in Alhambra, California before moving to Lake Havasu City in 1996. She was superseded in death by her beloved husband, Charles A. Sausedo, her father Reyes Vasquez, her mother, Francisca U de Vasquez, her beloved grandmother, Carlota Tapia de Urrea, her brothers Enrique Vazquez, Oscar Vazquez, Jorge Vazquez and her sister Elisa Vazquez de Corral. She is survived by her children, Sonja Y. Sausedo, Charles H. Sausedo (Hanelore) and Cynthia S. Dysart (Dennis), her grandchildren, Brian M. Philpot, Stephanie M. Philpot-White and Charles Anton Sausedo, and her great-grandchildren, Leila White, Leland White and Alana White. Charlotte was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother who loved deeply and was always ready for an adventure. She was so proud of becoming an American Citizen, but never forgot her roots caring deeply for her birthland, Mexico, and the family she left to start a life with our Father. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her or to be invited to her home always left with the following goodbye, "Mi Casa es Tu Casa" and if she said it, she meant it. Funeral arrangements will be held at West Covina Forest Lawn Cemetery, the date to be determined.
