| Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott Ariz. Friday, July 17, 1953 Death Claims Verde Woman Nona Ellen Dickison who was born in 1875 in an ox-drawn wagon in the Lower Verde, died Thursday evening in a local hospital. Mrs. Dickinson, Widow of Franklin Theodore Dickison, Who died April 26, 1926, was born while her family was in route from Missouri to the Arizona Territory. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred love, Prescott, and Mrs. Amanda Wilson, Cornville: four sons Walter of Prescott, Earl of Sanger, Calif, Lloyd of Bakersfield, Calif, and Albert of Camp Verde; a sister, Mrs. Mary Haw of Phoenix; brother, W. J. Dickison Camp Verde; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Methodist Church at Camp Verde, with Rev. Charles Franklin Parker of Prescott officiating. Burial will be in the Middle Verde Cemetery. The Ruffner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. |
