Prescott Courier, Prescott Arizona August 8, 1973 Russell Harris rites Friday A resident of Prescott for 23 years, Mr. Russell "Jim " Harris, 76, died Saturday, August 4 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson. Services will be conducted at Ruffner Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday August 10, with Chaplin Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at the (V.A. Cemetery) with full military honors. Friends may call at the Ruffner Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Mr. Harris was born Sept. 18, 1896 in Virginia. He worked in mining and construction and as a laborer. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the u. S. Army. He came to Prescott from Calif. 23 years ago. He is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Susan Fenno of Anacortes, Wash.
