| Prescott Courier, Prescott Arizona Friday, August 14, 1973 Myrtle Cehand of Baghdad dies Mrs. Myrtle Viola Cehand, formerly a longtime resident of Prescott and recently of Bagdad, died Monday, August 13 at the hospital in Baghdad. Mrs. Cehand had been residing with her daughters there for the past two years; she had once been employed at the Old Yavapai Community Hospital for about 10 years. Upon her retirement she moved tp Graf, Mo. where she live for six years before returning to Arizona and Bagdad. Funeral services will be held at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove, Mo. Hampton funeral home at Prescott's is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Nova Dean Thoroughman of Cabool, Mo, Mrs. Maggie Weatherhead of Bagdad; Mrs. Willie Decker of Bagdad; Mrs. Sarah Jackson of Corona, Calif. Additional survivors are true brothers: Edward Kellis of Baghdad and William A. Kellis of Camp Verde. She is also survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Kellis of Baghdad; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |
