Gilbert Rios (kiko), 74, passed away peacefully at home with his
family. He was born in Yuma, AZ and raised on a date farm in Bard,
California. Gilbert is at peace resting with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Gilbert graduated from Yuma High School in 1964, where he participated
in various sports. He served in the United State Army, during the
Vietnam War. After 40 years working for Sunkist, Fruit Growers Supply,
as Warehouse Supervisor he retired. Gilbert enjoyed reading,
gardening, playing cards, going to the movies, having dinner with his
wife and playing at the Casino.

Gilbert is survived by his wife Yolanda Quijada-Rios their sons,
Christopher, Gabriel, and Abel Rios and 7 grandchildren. He also
survived by several siblings, Frank Rios, Robert Rios, and Dolores
Meier. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his son Adam, his parents Victoria and
Frank Sr., sisters Beatrice Barachicha, and Cecilia Stewart.

Viewing will be at Yuma Mortuary, 775 S. 5th Ave. on Thursday, April
29, 2021, Family 4 to 5pm. Viewing from 5- 8pm with Rosary at 7pm.
Mass will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11am at Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, 505 S. Ave. B., following by Internment at Desert
Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be from 1-4pm. at Eagle
Hall, 225 S. 1st Ave.
