Thurman Moran rites Wednesday

A former Prescott resident Mr. A .E. Thurman Moran, 47, died Wednesday 
at the Veterans Administration Hospital here. Graveside services will 
be conducted at the Whipple V. A. Cemetery at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 
8 with Chaplain William Eaton officiating; there will be full military 
honors. Ruffner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements .

Mr. Morgan had been a heavy-duty equipment operator for the last five 
years and resided in Sedona. He moved to Prescott from Torrance, Calif 
in 1963 and resided here for several years before moving to Sedona.

He was born December 29, 1925 at Childress, Texas and was a veteran of 
World War II serving with the U. S. Navy.

Mr. Moran with a member of the American Legion Post in Flagstaff. 

Survivors include: mother, Myrtle of Sedona; two brothers, bill of 
Upland, California and Tim of Cucamonga, California.
