Edward Denis Nagle

Edward Denis Nagle, 74, passed away at his home in Lake Havasu City on
Monday, September 12, 2005. He was born on January 12, 1931 in
Washinton, DC. to Thomas Edward Nagle and Helen Julie Cary Nagle.

Ed married Jane Ruth Moran on December 26, 1955 at Star of the Sea
Parish in Marlehead, Massachusetts. Ed and his family moved to Lake
Havasu City in 1975. He was a registered architect in the states of
Massachusetts, Arizona and California. During his many years with
McGinnis, Walsh and Kennedy of Boston, he designed portions of the
National Shrine in Washington, DC, buildings at Boston College, Newton
College of the Sacred Heart, Emanuel College and Regis College. La
Pierre Court, The Shambles, Bahama Shores, Xanadu, Island Fashion Mall
and many other commercial buildings, condominiums and residences were
designed by E.D. Nagle. He later retired from the City of Ontario, CA.
with distinguished service from 1987 to 2000. He loved the Lake, the
sunsets and his home in Lake Havasu City. Ed was an accomplished
artist, chess player and classical pianist. As described by a favorite
nephew, he was unapologetically himself. He will be remembered as a
very generous man by many individuals and charities.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jayne Nagle of Lake
Havasu City, AZ.; daughters, Margee (Ron) Chieffo of Lake Havasu City,
AZ., Annie (Allan) Black of San Martin, CA.; sons, Thomas M. (Karen)
Nagle of Santa Monica, CA., William C. Nagle and Stephen E. Nagle of
Phoenix, AZ.; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Langdon and Veronica
Chieffo, Elizabeth, Katherine and Michelle Black and Edward J. Nagle.
He was sadly preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Denise
Stephanie Nagle-Stohl.

A Family remembrance will celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the
family reqeusts contributions go to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597,
LHC, AZ. 86045. Condolences may be sent to the family through
