| Published in The Miner on May 4, 2021 - Kingman, Arizona - Constance (Connie) Childers, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Kingman on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was born June 16, 1938 in San Francisco, California. She met Claude Childers and they were married in 1987 and had 34 wonderful years together. They owned the Crazy Horse Food & Feed for 17 years before retiring in 2018. Connie was a natural entrepreneur with many businesses in her lifetime. She loved sailing, traveling and gardening. She has a huge heart and there wasn’t a stranger that she wouldn’t welcome into her life to help them. Connie had a passion for horses so she joined the search and rescue sheriff’s posse in Kingman for many years. Connie is survived by her husband Claude Childers; sister Francis McGraw; daughters Irene Bridges and Karan Williams; stepdaughters Michelle Munger, Bandy Vogt, Cindy Childers and Frankie Fortier; and many grandkids and great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Franklin. Connie is a loving wife and wonderful mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed. There will be no services at this time. |
