Charles Glenn Poarch, Sr.

Charlie Glenn Poarch Sr. was born September 9, 1937 in Corsicana, Texas
and passed away July 2, 2019 in Globe, Ariz. He was the son of Paul
Jackson Poarch and Valley Aline Gray.

Charlie married Patsy Alene Miller in 1955 and they had four children:

Charlie lived in Globe in his younger days before moving to Hayden where
he graduated from Hayden High School in 1955. He loved singing, fishing,
and camping. He went into the Army Reserves, went to barber school and
then started working at Kennecott mines where he became an Electrical
Supervisor. When he retired, he opened his own barber shop in Kearny,
Arizona, where he loved to cut hair and enjoyed spending time
socializing with the residents. Charlie is mostly known for his singing
and his karaoke. Charlie used to have a country western band, which he
shared his love of music with his two sons Charlie Jr, and Billy
(Poncho) named “The Outcasts”, where he played at the Sunset Lounge,
Copper Hills, Elks Lodge, GKI and various other venues. This gave him an
opportunity to share his beautiful music with his friends and family and
bring camaraderie to everyone around him.

He was preceded in death by his two sons Charlie Glenn Poarch Jr (Jill)
passed August 2018 and William Jackson Poarch who passed February 28,
1981, his brother Billy Poarch and sister, Doris Flores

Charlie is survived by his other two sons Cody Wayne Poarch (Tiffany),
Justin Poarch (Brenda), his sister Rosalee Joy. Charlie also leaves
behind his grandchildren Heather Poarch, Trisha Poarch Johnson, Billy
Jack (Willy) Poarch, Terrell Poarch, Brent Poarch, Peter Poarch, Rianna
Poarch, Cierra Poarch, Kyle Wager and Brady Wager including seventeen
great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren and many nieces
and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in Kearny Arizona at the Elks Lodge
on July 27, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

Ashes buried with Son Billy Jack "Ponch" Poarch in the Dudleyville
Cemetery Dudleyville, Pinal Co., Arizona
