| Published in Yuma Sun on May 11, 2021 - Yuma, Arizona >> Gordon Bud Davis << Bud Davis of Yuma, peacefully passed away at his home on May 8, 2021 at the young age of 80. He was born on October 4, 1940 in Ketchikan, Alaska to Gordon W. Davis, Sr. and Winona Davis. Bud grew up in Ketchikan and lived many years in Washington before moving to Yuma in 2000 to build homes and enjoy warmer weather. He was a lifelong contractor, a trade he learned from his father, and anyone who knew Bud would know he was happiest when he was looking at house plans and had a job site to go to. Although he retired many years ago, he continued to build one last house every year with his last house officially being completed in early 2021. Bud is survived by his wife Sharon, his son Rodney (Michelle) Davis, daughters Ronda (Gregg) and Kelly, stepsons Kevin and Travis McMullen, and siblings Bette Davis and David Davis. In addition, Bud had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews all who loved him unconditionally. Bud was always willing to give his time to help others with house projects, had a natural way of making people laugh, enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and was loved by all who knew him. He will be loved and missed forever. Per Bud's request, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your preferred charity.
