| Published in Today's News Herald on May 13, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Mary Albina Havlovic, 85, passed away on May 9, 2021. She was born Feb. 26, 1936 in Roswell, New Mexico to Seymour F. Canty and Lillie L. Faukner. Mary attended and graduated from Paramount High School, in California. Her career started as a dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Studios and Modeling. Mary married the love of her life Dale on Feb. 21, 1958 and enjoyed 63 years together. She was a Los Angeles County Sheriff deputy and proudly served for 18 years before retiring. Mary was also a member of AGlow and was their president for 20 years. She enjoyed a wonderful marriage, children and a long career. Mary is survived by her husband, Dale Havlovic; children, Tammy Thomas and Jerry Havlovic; Sister, Kay Perdue; 3 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Seymour and Lillie Canty. Visitation will take place at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, May 14 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. There will be a graveside service at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Saturday, May 15 at 2 p.m. Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
