| Published by Arizona Daily Sun on May 16, 2021 - Flagstaff, Arizona - Sandra Nye Baugh, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on May 5th, 2021 at Flagstaff Medical Center. She was born July 29th, 1948 in Cedar Rapids to Gerald and Sarah Mulvany (Luberger). Sandy graduated from Washington High School Class of 1966. Soon after graduation she Married James Baugh and started their Family with 3 children, Scott, Stacy, and Brandon in Colorado. Besides raising her children Sandy enjoyed raising and successfully showing many Grand Champion Shaded Silver Persian cats. After her 28 years of marriage ended she found herself in Utah, back to Iowa, and finally Flagstaff, Arizona. Where she was as a caregiver, Office Assistant, Grandmother, and Granddogmother to two wonderful cocker spaniels, Ellie and Sady. She is survived by one child, Scott Baugh and his wife Connie Baugh of Flagstaff, Sisters Patti Heaton of Florida and Denise Kennedy of Iowa, Two grandchildren Sarah Baugh and Alexia Voss; four nieces Jill Kennedy, Lora Overbeck, Sarah Orial, and Robin Christofferson; and three great grandchildren. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sue Cline, and children Brandon and Stacy Baugh. A private Family service will be held at a later date in Colorado. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the High Country Humane Society on 11665 N HWY 89, Flagstaff, AZ under Sandy's name. |
