Roy K Skogstrom, 65, of Pepeekeo, HI, died May 4th at home. Born in 
Manhasset, NY, he grew up in Scottsdale, AZ, attending Cocopah 
Elementary and Chaparral High School. He graduated with honors from 
Stanford University with degrees in Chemistry and Biology.

Roy owned Kahua Exotic Tropical Fruits Farm in Pepeekeo, was a 
physical therapist, and was CEO of Oncologic, a biotech company 
working on a treatment for cancer.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Egil and Mildred Skogstrom of 
Scottsdale, AZ. He is survived by wife Catherine Marquette of 
Pepeekeo, sister Susan Skogstrom (Don) Outland of Ewa Beach, HI. 
Nephew Manny Griffin. Nieces Shannon Yun, Megan (Brandon) Cortijo, 
Jennifer Griffin, Christine Griffin, Stephanie Outland, Ryanne 
(Sergio) Malfavon, numerous grand nieces & nephews. Also survived by 
in-laws Mike Marquette, Tim Marquette, Margie King and Chris Coscuna.
