Doug was born in Grand Island, Nebraska to Alta Walford and Gary Falldorf on July 1, 1963. He attended high school at Grand Island Northwest and graduated in 1981. Doug played football at Northwest and went on to graduate from University of Nebraska Kearney with a degree in business. Doug worked at Principal Financial after graduating from college. He was involved in sports while in Grand Island and coached soccer for several years. All the soccer players loved playing for Coach Doug; he coached many successful teams. Eventually the car business came calling, Doug worked as an accountant and controller for Anderson Ford. The car business would eventually bring him to Lake Havasu City. Doug continued working in the car business as an accountant until his last day. Doug loved the weather out west. He loved spending summer days in the backyard grilling and lounging by the pool. Doug loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He loved watching his kids play sports and traveling to Zach's college football games. Doug spent much of his free time with Zach in Las Vegas and in San Diego on vacations. Doug will be missed by many; he had such a kind heart. We can only sit back and think that Doug is in Heaven with his best friend Rich grilling, listening to some tunes, having a beer, and laughing together. Doug is survived by his parents Alta and Roger Bruce, his three children Joshua (Mandie) Falldorf, Zachary Falldorf (Shelly), and Whitney Falldorf; his four grandchildren Cashton, Weston, Stetson Falldorf and Remi Hale; sister Kim Wallin (Tate) brothers Fred Falldorf and Rob Falldorf (Irene) as well as several nieces and nephews.
