Edith Beer Born in Cleveland, Ohio on Sept. 3, 1928. Departed on May 16, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Edith Beer, 77, of Cottonwood died May 16, 2006. She was born September 3, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Ralph E. and Clara (Cherry) Schuman. She attended St. Augustine Academy, Mrs. Beer worked as a bookkeeper for condo associations and a symphony. Her interest included quilting and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Beer; a brother Ralph Schuman, a sister Ruth McGloin, a son, Jeffrey Beer and a grandson Adam Beer. She leaves daughters, Virginia Leamn, husband Lawrence, Crown Point, Ind. and Chris Carvalho, Phoenix; a sister, Mary Girard, Geneva, Oh. and three grandchildren.
