| Published in The Arizona Republic on May 20, 2021 - Phoenix, Arizona >> Dr. Dennis Roy Parker << >> July 28, 1942 - March 26, 2021 << With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Dennis Roy Parker on March 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife Liz, 3 children Anne (Keith) Medvar, Karen Baker, Tait (Tara) Parker, stepson Zachary Mulcahy, and 6 grandchildren. Dennis was a dedicated family practice doctor in Phoenix for over 40 years. He took great pride in buying his own practice in the area he was proud to serve. He was awarded the prestigious Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association for his dedication to his patients. One of his great passions was the Arizona wilderness where he was a volunteer for search and rescue as well as an avid hunter. He loved the great outdoors. Dennis will be remembered for his love of winning, dining, and socializing. He was never without a dirty joke to tell and could never be called boring. He was always the life of the party and will be missed by all. A private service will be held for family only. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to PBS or the Phoenix Art Museum. |
