Elaine Christy Page Born in Phoenix, Arizona on Oct. 25, 2000. Departed on May 11, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. An angel on earth was called home too soon. Elaine Christy Page, age 5, passed away Thursday May 11, 2006. Even though Elaine was a mermaid in the water and could swim very well, the cause of death was an accidental drowning. Elaine (or "Lou" as she was known by those close to her) was in Mrs.Gilliam's '06 graduating kindergarten class at Dr. Daniel Bright Elementary School. Elaine was a very bright child who was wise beyond her age, she deeply touched the lives of every person who crossed paths with her lively spirit. She is going to be greatly missed by all those who loved her. Goodnight sweetheart, sweet dreams princess. Lou's "Graduation from Life Celebration" will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday May 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS Church Stake Building, 1377 E. Hombre Dr. in Cottonwood. Burial at Cottonwood City Cemetery will take place immediately following these services. Everyone whose life was touched in some way by this beautiful little girl is invited to attend.
