On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Arthur Gimson passed away at the age of
81. Arthur was born on July 13, 1939, to Henry and Edna Gimson and was
raised in Watford, England. After being educated in England and
France, Arthur came to the US in 1963 where he personified the saying
on one of his favorite shirts, "British Born but American by Choice."

Arthur had an almost 30-year career in the hospitality industry with
Hilton Hotels, working both in his home country of England and
throughout the United States. In 2003, Arthur finally settled down to
a beautiful home in Carefree, Arizona. Arthur was an extremely loyal
and patriotic American, serving on Carefree town council, numerous
organizations and committees, and volunteering with the Foothills
Caring Corps. He was an avid hockey fan and had a twenty year
love/hate relationship with the Arizona Coyotes where he was a season
ticket holder for many years.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Patricia, his daughter Lara, stepsons
Jeffrey, Marc, and Sean, his beloved Huskies Katya and Tanya, and his
brothers Anthony and John. Memorial arrangements are yet to be
determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American
Heart Association or the American Cancer Society
