| Published in The Arizona Republic from May 18 to May 21, 2021 - Phoenix, Arizona - Phillip Martin Dreher, 85, of Prescott, AZ, passed away on Friday, October 2nd, 2020. Phil was born July 28, 1935 in Burlington, IA to Carl and Dorothy Dreher. Phil served in the US Navy, married Frances Ribando in 1958, moved to the Chicago suburb of West Chicago, and started what would be a very long career with Western Electric (aka A T&T). Phil retired from the phone company in 1993 shortly after losing his wife to ALS. When he retired, Phil found a hobby - target shooting and gun collecting. A firearm enthusiast, Phil moved West to Prescott Arizona to be with his daughter Patricia M Drazewski (David) and son-in-law David J Drazewski. For many years, he enjoyed year round sunshine, the local library, and a variety of outdoor shooting ranges. Phil's unique ways and suave mannerisms will be fondly remembered by his family and close friends. A small service will be held on Tuesday, 5/25/2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL where he will join his wife and infant son Robert Michael. See Also: Find A Grave |
