Mary Helen (Pantoja) Bustamante born March 17, 1935 in Yuma, Arizona
and entered her eternal rest on May 14, 2021 in Yuma, Arizona.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary worked
in the grocery store business in and around the Yuma area form the age
of 16 until she retired after 35+ years of service.
Mary is survived by her 3 children: Joe (Donna) Bustamante, Delfina
(Manuel) Nunez and Yvonne (Glenn) Graf. She is also survived by her
brothers: Gilbert Tapia and James (Gloria) Tapia; her grandchildren:
Jessica Amanda Parra, Leah Michelle Nunez, Angela Monique Nunez,
Samuel Anthony Nunez, Garrett Zachary Bustamante and Jenevieve Elise
Bustamante: her great-grandchildren: Angel David Duran, Jr., Alyzah
Monique Duarte, Samuel Anthony Nunez, Jr., Amelia Alice Nunez and
Sebastian Zaiijee Nunez; and nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her father Santos Pantoja and mother Mary
Senovia (Garcia) Tapia, her husband Rufino Hernandez Bustamante,
brother Carlos Pantoja, sister Margaret Hernandez, sister-in-law
Alicia Rosales Tapia and nephew Gilbert Rosales Tapia, Jr.
A visitation and rosary will be held for Mary on Thursday, May 27,
2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Johnson Mortuary.
A mass will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 9:30 am until 10:30
am at Immaculate Conception Church. Graveside service will occur at
Desert Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 am until 11:30 am.
