| Published in The Arizona Republic from May 21 to May 25, 2021 - Phoenix, Arizona - Phoenix - James "Jim" Crete Demaree, 72, of Phoenix died Thursday May 13th at John C. Lincoln Medical Center. A native to Phoenix, AZ, Jim loved the tranquility and curiosities of his home state. After retiring from thirty-five years at ADOT as a design engineer, he lived for the outdoors. He was happiest when biking, gardening, fishing in Tonto Creek, and bird watching with the family at their cabin outside of Payson along with his loyal companion, Sally D, his black lab. He was predeceased by his parents David and Bix Demaree. Jim is survived by his wife Jani, and his daughter Jessie Demaree of Phoenix; and his brothers Ross Demaree of Walnut Creek, CA, and Bruce Demaree of Phoenix, AZ. Memorial services will take place at 9:00AM June 12th at the family residence. |
