| Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 28 to Jun. 29, 2021 - Bullhead City, Arizona >> CLAIRESSA RENE FRANSKE WILLIAMS << July 30, 1978 - on the evening of May 8, 2021 she received her wings In 1978 a glow struck this Earth with a huge smile that could be seen all the way to the heavens. It was noticed by all she shared that smile with and anyone she came into contact with. She was a treasure to all with a heart of gold. A diamond with a million facets that gave her the brilliance that only she had. Claire was a strong, fiercely independent, woman. She always thought of others first and she wanted you to feel as if you were number one. Friends weren't just friends, they were family. Everyone became her family. She quickly made you her friend. Friends of friends and new clients all became friends. If she met you in the grocery line, before you walked out that door you were friends. Claire owned Claire's Twisted Tangles and was a hairdresser for more than 20 years. It was her passion. She loved making people feel their best. She had clients that started coming to her from the very beginning, and from all over the country and they always came back. She loved adventure, travel, music and comedy. She liked riding dirt bikes, jet skis, driving off-road vehicles, the thrill of skydiving, driving boats and target practicing. She learned at a very young age to try everything at least once. "I cant" was not in her vocabulary. If the opportunity happened, and it crossed her path, she did it. Beaches were her number one favorite place to be, and anywhere her family and friends hung out would make her happy. She loved her fur babies, including the ones no longer with us (Staines, Miller, Blue and her loving Addie). Claire was a devoted aunt to her niece, Rylee Rea. She would sometimes count down the days until the next time she'd be able to see her. Clairessa was preceded in death by her Dad, Richard Arn; grandfather, Ray Franske; and grandmother, Judy Franske. She is survived by her soulmate, Chris Williams; mother, Lauri Arn; sister, Marenia (Jarrett) Ylitalo; niece, Rylee Rea; parents, Joel Williams (Pops) and Hillary Williams; siblings, Austin Williams, Jennifer Williams, Sara Todd, and Ashley (Wayne) Woodward; aunts, Janet Barton and Jan Arn. Her life had recently come full circle as she bonded with her biological father, Dave Wood, his wife Cyndee and the Wood family. Whether you were a friend, family member or client, Claire's superpower was making sure people felt loved, appreciated and taken care of with authenticity only she could bring. She was a mom, mentor and therapist to anyone who could use a kind word. She leaves us inspired to be the best version of ourselves and to make sure we have room in our lives for fun. Definitely do not take ourselves too seriously and ask ourselves to love honestly and live ferociously; a statement that Claire kept close to her and read often. Memorial services for Claire will be held at 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at El Rio Golf Course. Promise me you will always remember: you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. - Winnie the Pooh |
