Preston Newton Born in Camp Verde, Arizona on March 3, 1937. Departed on June 22, 2002 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona. Preston Newton, 65, of Camp Verde, died June 22. He was born March 3, 1937 in Camp Verde. Preston was very loving, kind and was a passionate son and uncle. He had a zest for life and was always willing to help out however he could. He will be greatly missed. He leaves his mother, Virginia Newton, his two sisters, Sally Newton, Rhoda Lennon; a brother, Adam Newton and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at the Yavapai-Apache Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 26 at the Church at 8 a.m. Burial will be in the Middle Verde Tribal Cemetery. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
