| Published in The Arizona Republic from May 28 to May 29, 2021 - Phoenix, Arizona - Mildreth "Millie" Bahula died on May 21, 2021. Millie was born August 30, 1924 in Omaha, Nebraska to Camilla and Anton Auerswald and her sister, Helen. She married Frank Bahula and had one daughter, Linda Bahula Angeloff. She lived in Omaha, NE until 1966 when the family moved to Scottsdale, AZ. Millie worked for Prudential both in Omaha and Phoenix, and retired after 30 years. Millie loved books and reading and her home was filled with books and magazines. Her love of reading prompted her to volunteer for 25 years with the Scottsdale Public Library. She also loved playing bridge, and her many friends. Her smile and sense of humor will be missed. Millie is survived by her daughter, Linda, a niece, Nancy (Orby) Wells, and a nephew, Brian (Dawn) Bahula. A Celebration of Millie's life will be in the Fall. In remembrance of Millie, donations can be made to the AZ Humane Society, or the Arbor Day Foundation. |
