Heaven above gained another angel: Maribel Dowd-Synold Johnson,
February 4, 1924 – May 23, 2021. Maribel's age just caught up with
her; 97 years is a long time.

Her husband, James Agee Johnson, was already there to greet her in
Heaven, along with many other family members.

Maribel was an extremely crafty person and tried every craft
imaginable as they became popular. She would crochet, make jewelry,
decoupage, mosaic hot plates, sew clothes and her most treasured
craft, QUILTING. These were all done along with working full time. Her
work ethic should be a role model for all; she worked until the age of
90. She was still using Facebook and email at 97. If she was sitting,
she was reading.

Her love of family extended to all, nieces, nephews, and family
friends as well. She was very close to all and loved hearing of all
their accomplishments. Her wicked sense of humor caught all off guard.
Geneology was another task she took on. Pictures were everywhere and
on every wall. She was a people person through and through and cared
for all in need.

Maribel was very active through the years with her church, The Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And finally, her admonition for
all was, "Die by the time you are 85; put names and dates on the back
of all pictures; empty a drawer in your home each month; and Family is
Forever."

Maribel is survived by her two sons, James T. Johnson (Shinazy) and
George "Mike" Michael Johnson (Cheryl); four grandsons, Erik (Amber),
Jim (Mary), Scott (Dominique), and Chris; and six great-grandchildren,
Keevan, Ender, Caiden, Everlynn, Paisley, and Brendan. All have their
own special memories of her.

No services are planned at this time. Donations would be gratefully
accepted in Maribel's memory to: Arizona Life Hospice, 5225 Hwy 95
Suite 7, Fort Mohave, AZ 86426 Telephone 928)278-7691
