| Published by Today's News Herald from Jul. 7 to Jul. 8, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Jerald "Jer" Lee Ash, 89, passed away June 19, 2021 in Lake Havasu City. He was born March 4, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph and Myrtle Ash. He graduated from Belmont High School in Los Angeles. He worked at The Los Angeles Times in California as a pressman/supervisor, for 42 years. He married his lovely wife Patricia in Pasadena, California. Together, they shared 46 years of marriage and were blessed with two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They lived in Hacienda Heights, California before making Lake Havasu City their home in 1992. Jer enjoyed water skiing, boating, traveling, R.C. planes and model building. He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Lake Havasu City and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hacienda Heights, California. Jerald was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, his parents, Joseph and Myrtle, his son Timothy, his brother Merlin and his sisters, Marjorie and Caryl and his long time lady friend, Dolly Harper. He is survived by his son Daniel, his daughter Lorinda, his sister Beverly, his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Donations can be made in Jerald's name to Hospice of Havasu and Mt.
