| Published by Today's News Herald from Jun. 30 to Jul. 1, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Peggy Ann Sheppard has gone up to be with her Father in Heaven after a nine-year battle with cancer. She was born to Mary and William Havens on Aug. 23, 1941 in Jonesville, Virginia. Her father was a military man, so she traveled a lot, ending up in Southern California. Her mother, father, and oldest brother preceded her in death. Peggy got married at a young age and had 3 children, Bobbi, Linda, and Curtis. She met Joe Sheppard and they married Feb. 6, 1970 in Las Vegas. They did some traveling and boating, which is how they ended up here in Lake Havasu City. Jobs were scarce, so she did various jobs. She ended up at Bank One, where she retired at age 55 in 1996. Peggy leaves behind her loving husband, daughters and son, and three stepchildren, Robert, Claudine, and Danny. She was a born-again Christian and we know she is with God now. One day we will all be back together again. Until that time comes, she will forever be in our hearts. Per Peggy's request, there will be no service. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Peggy's family at www.mohavememorial.com. Arrangements were placed in the care of Mohave Memorial Lake Havasu Mortuary. |
