James R. Watson

James R. Watson, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on June 19, 2021,
after a battle with mesothelioma.

James was born on Nov. 23, 1941, and raised by his mother and
stepfather, Grace and Merle Richard in Fresno, California. After
graduating high school, Jim joined the Navy and ultimately embarked on
a long career in the electrical industry. Jim spent these years in
Southern California, building not only a successful career, but
lifelong friends based on his easygoing, fun and welcoming nature.

After retiring, Jim spent his remaining years in Lake Havasu City. He
was active in the Elks, VFW, Moose and Eagle lodges, traveling often
in his RV with his RV club, kayaking and spending time with his
friends, family, grandkids and sweetheart, Joanie Forbes.

Jim brought his positive, upbeat and fun-loving nature to every
interaction with family, friends and new acquaintances. Always
punctual, with camera or iPhone in hand, Jim lovingly lived a full and
rewarding life, while enhancing the lives of those surrounding him.

Jim was predeceased by his wife Sharon Watson, his parents, his
brothers Ted and Tom Watson and his sister, Nancy. He is survived by
his sweetheart Joanie Forbes, son Michael Watson, daughter Pamela
Watson, daughter Emily D'Ambrosio, son-in-law Tony D'Ambrosio and
grandchildren Brenden Watson, Ava D'Ambrosio and Olivia D'Ambrosio.
