Carol Florence Engelbert, age 82, peacefully passed on June 21, 2021,
and is now another angel that her family and friends will forever
miss. Carol was loved by all who crossed paths with her. Her
charismatic personality attracted anyone that she interacted with,
including strangers in the grocery store. She loved to laugh, and
never took life too seriously.

Carol was born in Cedar Falls, Rhode Island, on December 25, 1938, to
Alphonso and Theresa Jordan. Her family moved to San Diego, California
when she was a young girl. Life was not always easy for Carol;
however, she met the love of her life, Eddie Engelbert, and they were
married in Huntington Beach, California on February 23, 1982. Eddie
and Carol had a love of horses, and owned a horse boarding ranch, in
Arcata, California. They relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in
2003. They enjoyed traveling in their motor home, boating, and going
on adventures. Carol was an avid quilter and was a member of a
quilting group called Cactus Needles. She survived a battle with
cancer, and although she had many health issues from the treatment,
she always had a positive outlook and a tenacious spirit. Carol, her
daughter Rhonda, and granddaughter Ashley, were like the three
musketeers, always scheming some plan like going hot air ballooning,
taking a trip to L.A. to meet Carol Burnette, racing red corvettes, or
simply taking a girl’s trip to the fabric store.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Eddie Engelbert, and their
little girl (dog) Candy; her children Rhonda Stockwell and David
Johnston, her grandchildren Christopher and Katie Ponticelli, Cody
Johnston, Taylor Johnston, Austin Stockwell, and Ashley Stockwell; her
great grandchildren Jon Honeycutt, Bryce Ponticelli, Addison
Ponticelli, and Bailee Ponticelli, as well as her favorite grand dog,
Baxter; and many, many friends who adored her.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonso and Theresa
Jordan, her son, Steven Johnston, and her son-in-law Rick Stockwell.

Carol requested to not have a celebration of life, and in lieu of
flowers, she would like you to please donate to Hospice of Havasu.

I would like to extend my upmost of gratitude to the doctors and staff
at Havasu Regional Medical Center, Haven Health, and Hospice of Havasu
for their professionalism, compassion and kindness to allow Carol to
leave this world peacefully and painlessly.

The world lost a one-of-a-kind woman who lived, loved, and most of all
laughed out loud, and heaven gained an angel of gold.
