Amy L. Ewing passed away peacefully in Littleton, Colorado on July 8,
2021 with her daughters by her side. She was born on May 3, 1929 in
Los Angeles, California to proud parents Louise (Kallin) Hart and
Albert L. Hart. She attended Beverly Hills High where she first met
her future husband, Bob Ewing. After graduating high school in 1946,
she attended UCLA and was an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta
sorority. She received a bachelors degree in elementary education and
went on to teach 3rd and 4th grades. Amy was a dedicated teacher and
loved being a great role model to her students.

During the winter holiday of 1952, she reconnected with her former
classmate, Bob Ewing who was on leave with the US Air Force. After
only a few weeks of dating and a few months of beautifully written
correspondence, she took a chance and flew to London, England and
married her sweetheart, in a simple but dignified military ceremony.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Paris, Geneva, Rome, Capri and Nice,
traveling by convertible through the European continent.

In 1953, the couple returned to the states and settled in Phoenix,
Arizona. They spent the next 63 years raising a family and building a
successful business, the Ewing Construction company.

Amy was involved in several charitable organizations and dedicated
much of her time volunteering for the St. Luke's Board of Visitors and
the Junior League of Phoenix. She was a competitive tennis player and
an avid bridge player. Bob and Amy continued their love of travel,
sharing countless adventures and rendezvousing yearly in Kona, Hawaii
with their Beverly Hills high crew, whom they remained close friends
with throughout their lives.

After Bob passed away, Amy relocated to Colorado to be close to her
youngest daughter and family. She will be remembered as a wonderful
mother, loving wife, loyal friend, kind grandma and a classy, elegant
woman until the end.

Amy is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived
by her children, Robert "Bob" Hart Ewing, Leslie Ewing (Andrew
Gaupel), Katherine "Katie" Ewing Worden (Neil), 5 grandchildren and 12
great grandchildren. The family will be holding a private service.

To honor Amy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to
