| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 13, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Ann Moore, 84, died of cancer on July 13, 2021, at home with her family around in her in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Charles and Helen Sutherland in Pasadena, California on May 18, 1937. She lived in the Corona Del Mar and Newport Beach area for the most part. In 1953 she and her family moved to Ridgewood, New Jersey. She graduated from Ridgewood High school in 1955. At this time, she moved back to California. She married Wayne Moore on November 14th, 1987, in Mission Viejo California. After she retired from Johnson & Johnson, she lived in San Clemente California. In 2008 she and her husband moved to Lake Havasu City. She enjoyed the small town and the friendly people. Ann was a member of the Western Welcome Club. She loved to knit and knitted baby blankets for all her grand and great grandchildren. She also loved to quilt. She was a traveler and loved to cruise and for a short time worked on cruise ships during her vacations from her regular job. She was also into RVing, and with her husband traveled all over the U.S. and Canada. But most of all she loved her family and friends. Ann is survived by her husband Wayne, sons Robert Gerbasi, of Orange, California, Scott Gerbasi, of San Diego California. Daughter Lisa Boyd of Lake Havasu City. Sister Judith Snyder of Prescott Arizona. Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Paul in 2000, and her parents. There will be a celebration of life, the date and time to be determined. The family memorials may be made to Hospice of Havasu. |
